Why temperature matters for the dry solid

Freeze-dried cakes and powders are still chemical solids. Elevated temperature can accelerate degradation pathways over time. Follow the storage line on the product page and any storage note on the lot COA when present.

Light and container handling

Protect vials from direct light during storage and bench transfer. Keep caps sealed except when removing material under your facility’s procedures. Condensation on a cold vial opened in humid air can introduce unwanted moisture to the cake — allow the closed vial to warm toward room temperature before opening.

Moisture and resealing
